Aluminum Composite Materials

Aluminum metal composite materials (ACM) are produced by laminating two thin sheets of aluminum on either side of an extruded thermoplastic core. Other metal composite materials are also available ( stainless, copper, zinc, bronze, etc.. ). The metallic surfaces are prefinished and coil-coated in a variety of paint finishes before bonding. ACM panels offer the rigidity of heavy-gauge sheet metal in a lightweight panel that’s easy to fabricate and adaptable to a vast range of indoor and outdoor building applications. Aluminum composite materials (ACM) offer a modern approach to building wall panel design. Used for both exterior and interior applications, ACM’s provide the ability to provide large format panels with a very smooth appearance ( no “oil-canning” ). Panel sizes up to 48” x 240” are examples of the sizes available.
